Notice of Action: At its November 3, 2021 board meeting, the Allegany County Board of Elections will discuss finding new polling places for locations who indicated on their polling place agreement that they are not willing to serve as a polling place in the 2022 Elections. In addition, the board will also discuss the parking situation at District/Precinct 026-000 – Frostburg Community Center to determine if a different location is necessary. Notice has been sent to Frostburg State University in compliance with the Students and Military Voters Empowerment Act.
Polling Places Include:
District/Precinct 004-008 – Salvation Army Community Center
District/Precinct 018-000 – Midland Fire Station
District/Precinct 026-000 – Frostburg Community Center
Ballot Drop Box locations will also be discussed at this meeting. Board members will decide whether the current locations should be retained and if there is a need for any additional ballot drop boxes for the 2022 Elections.
