We are currently seeking applicants who would like to be a part of this well-established public safety agency. If you are interested in a career in corrections at a local detention facility which focuses on care, custody, safety and reintegration of detainees who will be released back into our communities, apply today. Starting salary for Correctional Officers is $44,898 with a 2% salary increase on July 1, 2023 and additional salary increases in 2 (5%), 4 (2%) and 5 (5.5%) years. The Correctional Training Academy is a fully paid, seven-week training course that will prepare you with a solid foundation for your career that equates to 175 hours of instruction.
