The mulch yard will be open for its final weekend of the season this Saturday and Sunday, open dawn to dusk!
Reminder - the mulch yard is for residential use only. ♻️ We ask all users to continue using the site responsibly. While this service is free for Allegany County residents, it does come at a cost to the County. Excessive dumping — often by contractors — threatens the future of the program.
What's Accepted:
Grass, leaves, brush, trees and tree limbs six inches or less in diameter, and other fresh greenery free of artificial decorations of any type.
Not Accepted"
Stumps, roots, trees and tree limbs more than six inches in diameter, rubble, demolition material, lumber, pallets, railroad ties, and all other items not listed as "accepted."
