In Observance of Labor Day, Allegany County Government offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2022

NOTE:  Allegany County Government encourages individuals to pay utility and real estate tax bills online.  These bills may also be paid by placing a check/money order (NO CASH) in an envelope and using the locked drop box outside the main entrance at Allegany County Government, 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland. 

Allegany County Transit
Public transportation services will not be offered by Allegany County Transit on Monday, September 5, 2022. Fixed route bus service, para-transit service (Alltrans), and JARC (Job Access Reverse Commute) Get to Work will not operate. 
 
Residential Refuse Sites and
Yard Trimmings and Mulch Site
The Frostburg Residential Refuse Site, operated by Allegany County Government and adjacent to Mountainview Landfill, will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2022. 
NOTE: Mountainview Landfill, Frostburg, is privately owned and independently operated. The landfill scales telephone number is 301-463-9918. The office telephone number is 301-689-9425.
