Cumberland Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
Welcome to the Cumberland Area Metropolitan Planning Organization's web site. The Cumberland Area MPO is a federally-designated agency responsible for coordinating transportation planning and programming in Allegany County, MD and Mineral County, WV including the City of Cumberland and the City of Frostburg. Plans and programs adopted by the MPO outline how federal transportation funds will be spent and must comply with federal laws governing clean air and transportation.
At meetings throughout the region, the public is encouraged to participate in the policy-making process for regional transportation plans and programs. We have created this website to help you reach us.
