and Refuse Disposal Sites

The Frostburg Solid Waste Collection Area will be closed
on Monday,
May 27.
The compost site and the Flintstone,
Little Orleans, and Oldtown Solid Waste Collection Areas are
not open on any Monday. IMPORTANT:
Mountainview Landfill, 13300 New Georges Creek Road SW, is
privately owned and operated by Waste Management and may be
contacted at 301-463-9918. Allegany County Government’s
Recycling Coordinator believes that Mountainview Landfill
will be closed on Monday, May 27. ·Closed:
Frostburg Solid Waste Collection Area, adjacent to the
Mountainview Landfill at 13300 New Georges Creek Road SW, is
operated by Allegany County Government. This refuse disposal
site is regularly scheduled to operate 6 days a week,
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 7 - 3:30,
Saturday 7:00 - 2:00.

11700 PPG Road, North Branch Industrial Park.
The compost site is regularly scheduled to operate 5
days a week under the summer schedule now in effect:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 10 - 6, Sunday, 9

Area: 26706 National Pike. This refuse disposal
site is regularly scheduled to operate 2 days a week,
Thursday, 10 - 6, Sunday, 9 - 5.

disposal site is regularly scheduled to operate 1 day a
week, Friday, 10 - 6.

disposal site is regularly scheduled to operate 2 days a
week, Wednesday, 10 - 6, Saturday, 9 - 5.
