Auto Pay

The Allegany County Tax and Utility Office now offers bank drafting. Bank drafting offers sanitary customers a convenient alternative to paying utility bills.

If you want to sign up for auto pay, please complete the authorization form (link below) and return it to the Allegany County Tax and Utility Office with a voided check from the bank account that you wish to use for auto pay. You may either drop off the form and voided check at the Allegany County Tax and Utility Office or mail it to:

The Allegany County Tax and Utility Office will begin drafting your bank account after the authorization form has been received and all provided information has been verified.  The "Auto Pay" will be activated on your NEXT quarter's bill.

Each quarter, you will receive your utility bill that will be marked “Auto Pay”.  On the date indicated on the bill, we will process your bank draft and deduct the “amount due” from your checking account.  Your bank statement will reflect the deduction and serve as your proof of payment.
